A man in California, Bryant Gonzalez, has been accused of grooming a young girl and is reportedly linked to a dangerous online group known as 764, which aims to dismantle societal norms through exploitation and corruption.
Authorities, including the FBI, have described this network as focused on creating civil unrest and undermining existing societal structures, particularly in the U.S.
Gonzalez, 24, was taken into custody in Downey on Thursday and is facing serious allegations related to children aged 11 and 15. Reports suggest he coerced one victim into filming distressing acts and shared those images online.
The 764 group is deemed “sadistic” and operates on both domestic and international levels. Despite numerous arrests of its leaders, the organization reportedly maintains a presence in California.
A different individual, Jose Henry Ayala Casami, was also arrested recently for possessing child pornography. At 28, he is alleged to have targeted young girls, forcing them to record degrading acts and even inscribing names of his abusers on their bodies. There are disturbing claims indicating the group encouraged suicidal behavior among minors.
Casami has already pleaded guilty to charges involving child pornography, with his sentencing coming up in late August.
Last summer, investigative efforts led by federal prosecutors resulted in multiple arrests tied to the 764 group in Southern California. One arrest was of Kim Dong-hwan, who allegedly manipulated young girls into sending explicit images and was believed to operate a server involving child pornography.
Amid these threats, federal authorities express growing concern. The 764 ideology seems to particularly prey on vulnerable children, exploiting their loneliness or emotional distress to further their agenda.
Bill Esseri, the lead federal prosecutor in Los Angeles, has initiated multiple legal actions against this group, pointing out their tactics of identifying and grooming at-risk youths to produce sexual content for exploitation.
It’s a troubling reality—764 isn’t the only organization of its kind targeting minors on the West Coast. Just last year, members of a neo-Nazi pedophile group known as CVLT were arrested for similar offenses involving coercion of minors into producing explicit material.
Furthermore, federal authorities have announced a nationwide initiative that has led to the arrest of several individuals in Los Angeles and Orange counties for a range of child pornography charges, further highlighting the pervasive threat these groups pose.
In light of these developments, officials urge parents to remain vigilant and educate themselves about the lurking dangers that could affect their children.
