The A-list male celebrity who is the subject of an alleged sex tape with Sean “Diddy” Combs is “terrified” that the footage is being sold to the media, according to two close aides to the star. people told the Post.
One of the people involved said, “It's stimulating.'' “This feels like a betrayal and a violation, and it's causing a lot of problems. It's really disturbing and brings back bad memories.”
Multiple people are selling incriminating footage of a man believed to be Combs having sex with a young man believed to be an A-lister. The faces of the two people are clearly visible in the video.
“It's an absolute nightmare,” the source said. “He was victimized years ago and feels like he's being victimized again now. If this footage gets out, he'll be followed for the rest of his life. It'll be on the internet forever. I guess.”
Another source close to the celebrity told the Post that he is “trying to ignore” the chatter about the video.
“If a video that was taken without his knowledge somehow gets leaked, there's not much he can do,” the source said. “So all he can do is pray. He prays that this all goes away.”
At least one of the people peddling the questionable tape has not turned it over to federal authorities.
Representatives and attorneys for Mr. Combs and the young celebrity did not respond to requests for comment from the Post.
The newspaper is not naming the star because it is unclear whether he was the victim of a sex crime or whether he was an adult at the time the footage was filmed.
A Department of Homeland Security official who participated in the raid on Combs' Miami home told the Post that law enforcement believes Diddy shot the incriminating video at the residence. The mansion is said to have a sex room set up so Diddy could record the sex party and watch it remotely.
However, sources could not confirm whether any of the footage obtained included the A-lister.
“There's a name you recognize,” the officer said. “But I'm not going to confirm their identity. But it's so much more than that.”
Here's what we know about the allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs
Multiple media sources told The Post that they had been approached for the footage in the past few weeks, but there were legal issues with authenticating the footage and concerns about the young celebrities' ages at the time. Therefore, he decided to postpone the purchase. Shooting in progress.
Ariel Mitchell Kidd, an attorney who works for several of Combs' accusers, recently appeared on NewsNation and claimed she had seen “stills” of the alleged video, but not the whole thing.
“Mr. Combs was on the tape, but this other person is, dare I say it, more well-known than Mr. Combs,” she argued.
“I can confirm the presence. It's real and the other people in the video are clearly visible,” she claimed. “There is no question whether that is the person in the video.”
In response to Mitchell-Kid's comments, Diddy's team flatly denied knowledge of the video, saying she was seeking “publicity and attention.”
On Tuesday, lawyers announced that more than 100 victims, including a 9-year-old boy at the time, plan to file a lawsuit against Combs for sexual abuse and exploitation.
“We want to focus on the age of the victim,” said Tony Buzbee, a Texas-based attorney. “It's shocking when you talk about the age of the victim when this act occurred.”
Buzbee said Tuesday in Houston, Texas, that the new wave of accusations by 120 accusers, roughly evenly split between men and women, spans more than 30 years and includes 25 minors, including one child. He said he was said to have been only 9 years old at the time of the attack.
