Naomi Watts spent Mother’s Day with her family in New York City.
The “Mulholland Drive” star was spotted enjoying time with her children, 17-year-old Sasha and 16-year-old Kai, and shared some moments on Instagram.
Watts, 56, was joined by her husband, Billy Crudup, and their rescue dog, Izzy.
The family celebrated at Tribeca’s popular Italian restaurant, Locanda Verde, where they enjoyed brunch together.
Images showcase Watts and her kids during a leisurely lunch in the restaurant’s inviting courtyard, and later, walking hand-in-hand down a Manhattan street.
Expressing her gratitude, Watts shared a heartfelt message on Instagram: “My heart is so full. Thank you to @sashapeteschreiber and @kaischreiberrrr. I’m so grateful.” She also shared sweet throwback photos with her children.
On this special day, she looked fashionably casual in a cardigan with a black bow, blue jeans, and red ballet flats, accessorized with sunglasses and a lace collared top. At one point, she changed into a blue button-down shirt featuring a daisy pattern.
Kai opted for a laid-back outfit with baggy jeans and an oversized Nicole Kidman graphic T-shirt, complemented by a pink Hermes Birkin bag.
Meanwhile, Sasha sported a black T-shirt and red shorts, rounding off his look with mid-calf Nike socks and Birkenstocks.
In a playful TikTok video, the mother-daughter pair showed off their outfits, with Kai affectionately referring to her mom as “My Queen.” Following the celebration, Kai shared a sweet tribute to her mother with clips from their time together.
Watts shares her two children with her ex-partner, Liev Schreiber. She and Crudup got married in June 2023.
Meanwhile, it remains unclear if Schreiber, who parted ways with Watts in 2016, celebrated Mother’s Day in a similar way, as he is now married to Taylor Neisen and welcomed their daughter, Hazel Bee, last August.
