Bizarre Incident in Biloxi: Naked Man Attacks Homeowner

Over the weekend, a startling episode transpired in Biloxi, Mississippi, involving a naked man who emerged from the Biloxi River and attacked a homeowner. According to the police, this unusual encounter took place Saturday evening when the homeowner approached the man, apparently to see if he needed assistance.

Reports indicate that, after being attacked, the homeowner defended himself by shooting the assailant several times.

The situation escalated around 8 p.m., leading to a call received by the Biloxi Police Department regarding a naked individual who had exited the river and was approaching a residence along Woolmarket Lake Road.

One of the homeowners, who wasn’t present at the time, spotted the man through a doorbell camera. Concerned, he reached out to a neighbor for help.

Upon arriving to check on the situation, the neighbor was unexpectedly attacked by the man. In response, the neighbor shot the individual multiple times, according to the police statement.

In a twist of events, the assailant managed to claim the neighbor’s weapon and re-entered the river. Search and rescue teams were eventually summoned, and the man’s body was discovered in the river around 2 a.m. the following day.

Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer later identified the deceased as 31-year-old Peter Baden III from Gulfport. Authorities reported that he was found with multiple gunshot wounds.

The injured neighbor suffered some cuts and bruises from the encounter, but fortunately, his injuries were not serious. Also, police reviewed the security footage capturing the entire incident.
