Future LSU quarterback shares insights on ‘God. Family. Football.’ on Fox Nation
Top-tier high school quarterback Peyton ‘Pop’ Houston was featured on ‘America’s Newsroom,’ discussing his key role in the Fox Nation series ‘God. Family. Football.’ The Louisiana native and future LSU quarterback elaborated on how he balances an impressive 4.0 GPA while excelling on the football field.
It’s another week, and David Gabriel Georges, who has committed to Tennessee, has put on another dominant performance.
Here at OutKick, I enjoy spending my Saturdays diving into college football discussions while also giving a nod to the high school players. There’s just something about high school football—it embodies a part of America.
You can learn a lot about a community by the size and placement of its local high school football stadium. Is it centrally located? Does it have a capacity of over 10,000? Do traffic police often have to direct crowds on game nights?
FLORIDA HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAME FEATURES ONE OF THE MOST REMARKABLE HAIL MARY PLAYS EVER
If you can answer ‘yes’ to any of those questions, congratulations—you’re in a thriving town. That’s all I need to know about it. Good, honest folks. My kind of people.
Anyway, back to David Gabriel Georges. This marks my second feature on this senior running back this season, and it’s easy to see why. He’s an absolute beast.
He gained significant attention in Baylor School’s opening game against Brentwood and turned heads again with his performance in last night’s victory over Louisville Trinity.
And when I say “turned heads,” I mean the future Volunteer rushed for an astonishing 316 yards and five touchdowns, hitting speeds over 21 MPH during one mesmerizing touchdown run that left fans in awe.

David Gabriel Georges stands out
This kid has got it. I’ve covered a lot of high school football in my time, and some players really shine through. You can tell when someone possesses that spark.
That’s precisely what you see in David Gabriel Georges this season. He’s a 5-star running back on a team that includes Peyton Manning’s son as a backup, and he’s incredibly tough to tackle. Yet, surprisingly, he’s only ranked second among running backs in the nation.
That’s just absurd. Like many rankings, that seems pretty off. Earlier this year, people compared him to Derrick Henry during Henry’s standout days at Yulee High School in Florida.
While I wouldn’t go that far, it’s not the wildest comparison out there:
Yeah, that kind of talent will definitely make an impact in the SEC.
High school football truly is the best.
