The “simple yet meaningful” passage from the Bible “speaks to the core of our spiritual and physical sustenance and reminds us of God’s unwavering provision and care,” Virginia pastor Ishq Abla told Fox News Digital.
She quoted Psalm 145:16, “The Lord’s hand will feed us; he will supply all our needs.”
The poem is from the Psalms, a collection of 150 poems, songs and prayers written in ancient Hebrew, according to the website The Bible Project. Just under half of the psalms are: King DavidAbout a third are anonymous, and the rest are by a variety of authors.

She said it can be difficult to accept that God is always present and cares for humanity.
“In the hustle and bustle of modern life, it’s easy to forget the deeper truths that underpin our faith and give us comfort in the midst of our turmoil.”
For Abra, this verse from Psalm 145 “is not just a word of comfort to me, it’s a lifeline that helps me get through the darkest times of my life.”

She continued, “As a single mother, I faced seemingly insurmountable challenges. I remember the days when I had no money and struggled to provide for my daughter. There were times when I couldn’t see a way forward, but God always helped me. When it seemed like there was no way, He opened a way.”
She said this was especially true when Abra was diagnosed with cancer.

“The fear and anxiety was overwhelming, but God brought healing into my life,” she said.
“Through the support of doctors, friends and my unwavering faith, I experienced God’s healing hand. It’s been a journey that has strengthened my faith and deepened my trust in God’s plan,” Abla said.

She said God has helped her even in her “times of deep loneliness.”
“Jesus gave me friends who were like family,” Abla said, “and their support and love were tangible reminders of His presence and His care.”
“In the midst of that despair, God gave us refuge.”
“I’ll never forget lying in the car with my daughter, feeling totally helpless and lost,” she said.
“In the midst of that despair, God provided us with refuge. It was an act of divine intervention that reassured me that God is always watching over us.”
“God is such an amazing Father, meeting our needs in ways I never imagined,” Abla said.

God’s faithfulness “stands as a testament to the truth of Psalm 145,” she said.
Abla said anyone who is struggling financially, mentally or physically can find strength in this verse.

“God is watching you and ready to help,” she said.
“God’s hand is never too short to save, and His love for you is beyond measure.”

Even when things seem unclear or hopeless, “God will meet your needs,” she said.
“He is the same God who provided for me and my daughter, who healed me, who brought friends into my life and gave us refuge,” Abla said.
“He would do the same for other people,” she said.
