Hollywood star Barbra Streisand has found her next big role as a defense attorney for Fulton County District Attorney Fannie Willis.
Barbra Streisand argued the embattled case of Fani Willis, who is on trial in Georgia for alleged ethics violations in prosecuting former President Donald Trump and 18 other co-defendants.
Willis admitted to having a romantic relationship with Nathan Wade, the special counsel who happened to be leading the Trump case. But Streisand doesn’t see that as an ethical issue.
“Women are allowed to hold public office while leading private lives,” Streisand argued in an X post on Friday.
District Attorney Fani Willis successfully acquitted him of conflict of interest charges. Women are allowed to engage in public service while maintaining a private life.

On Thursday, Fani Willis threw a tantrum on the witness stand, prompting a judge to suspend proceedings.
If Willis is found guilty of the ethics violations, she faces serious consequences, including disbarment and prosecution.
Barbra Streisand is one of Hollywood’s biggest cheerleaders for President Joe Biden. She recently said “I wouldn’t be able to live in this country” if former President Donald Trump was re-elected in 2024, adding that she thought Biden “did a good job.”
