In Yankee Stadium, the fans who were really enjoying the rain were those in the judge’s room over in right field.
Back in 1992, the Yankees had a marketing slogan that said, “Anytime, Great Moment.” Today, fans of Aaron Judge are always hoping for something spectacular, especially on May Day.
While Jalen Brunson might not shine as brightly, Judge took center stage as a designated hitter against the Rays, right as the Eastern Conference semi-finals against the Celtics were kicking off.
Before Judge stepped up to bat, Branson had donned a Superman cape in Game 5 in Detroit. Fans were eager to see what Judge would do, especially when the scoreboard highlighted his impressive stats: 11 home runs, 33 RBIs, and a 1.312 OPS.
