Aaron Rodgers Criticizes Trump, Claims ‘The MAGA Movement Doesn’t Exist’

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers expressed his discontent with President Donald Trump’s second-term performance on Thursday, suggesting that the MAGA movement is essentially over due to Trump’s inability to meet his campaign promises.

“There’s no MAGA movement. The Make America Great Again idea is dead. The person you elected hasn’t delivered on any of his pledges, and eventually, you start to see that nothing is actually changing,” Rodgers remarked during his appearance on “Not Just Football with Cam Heyward.”

He also took aim at the administration, drawing parallels to former President Barack Obama.

“When Obama was in office, people held on to the hope of change and improvement. But did we see actual benefits in the Black community? Is anyone better off? Did the Affordable Care Act really make a noticeable impact, or is it just an extra tax? Is healthcare genuinely improved in this country? Then Trump comes in, claiming he’s going to drain the swamp and enact real change, yet nothing transforms. Then they introduce that old figure [President Joe Biden]. That was quite a chaotic four years. And now we bring back the guy from the reality show; surely he’ll enact the change we need, right? This is round two for him, so now he’s really going to fix everything. Politics is just a total farce.”

Rodgers also criticized the handling of the Epstein Files by the administration, specifically calling out FBI Director Kash Patel, rebuking Trump for engaging in conflicts with Iran, implying the administration is too pro-Israel, and questioning the number of elected officials backed by AIPAC.

“I was actually pretty eager because, you know, that guy Kash Patel, he appears on Rogan — which I watch frequently since I’m a fan and Joe’s a friend — and he states, ‘On day one, we’re going to open the Epstein files.’ Yet, it’s been nothing but a lack of transparency from this administration. Anyone who once supported Trump or believed things would change must see that this is a pro-Israel administration. When you look deeper, that’s the uni-party at work. How many members of Congress are funded by AIPAC?”
