Aaron Rodgers was at UFC 302 in Newark, New Jersey on Saturday night and got an up-close look at the thunderous applause that former President Trump received as he entered the arena before the main card began.
A video circulating on social media shows Trump walking with UFC president Dana White to his seat as he passes them, where Rodgers and former Green Bay Packers teammate Mercedes Lewis are seated.

Fans of the New York Jets quarterback were quick to turn on social media, and the comments section of a video Rodgers posted to his Instagram with Lewis was filled with support for Trump. Rodgers has endorsed independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for president.
It was President Trump’s first public appearance since being convicted in a New York criminal case last week.
Rodgers posted a photo to his Instagram Story on Sunday of him shaking hands with Trump during a break in the game.
“Priceless,” he captioned the photo.

Rodgers has been seen taking part in organized team activities as the Jets prepare for the 2024 season.

New York acquired Rodgers in a shocking trade with the Green Bay Packers last offseason, and there were high expectations for the quarterback and the team heading into the first week of the 2023 season.
Unfortunately, Rodgers ruptured his Achilles tendon just four plays into the game and will miss the rest of the season.
