Miami Hurricanes Fan Abella Danger Raves About Fernando Mendoza

Fernando Mendoza might have disappointed Miami fans recently, but for Abella Danger, a student and adult film star who supports the Hurricanes, he’s still a standout star.

Danger gained viral attention as she became a regular at Miami games, especially during the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. Following the Hurricanes’ tough 27-21 defeat to Indiana on January 19 at Hard Rock Stadium, she didn’t hold back her feelings in an emotional outburst both on-air and on social media.

Mendoza played a pivotal role in Indiana University’s perfect season, propelling them to their first national championship. In a crucial moment during the game—nine minutes and 27 seconds from the finish—he executed a touchdown run on a fourth down, diving into the end zone to secure the win.

Recently declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft, Mendoza is projected to be the top pick by the Raiders.

Both owner Mark Davis and co-owner Tom Brady were present to witness the championship game.

During an interview at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, Danger shared her thoughts on Mendoza and what he might bring to the Raiders. “He’s incredibly quick, powerful, and intentional in every move he makes,” she stated.

She added, “The Raiders will be very fortunate to have him. The real question is whether he will play his first season after being drafted—hopefully, he does!”

Mendoza had an impressive first season in Bloomington, rushing for 3,535 yards and scoring 41 touchdowns, and he will join the Raiders amid their ongoing transition. Meanwhile, Las Vegas is actively looking for a new head coach after firing Pete Carroll due to a frustrating 3-14 record in his first season.

In contrast, quarterback Geno Smith struggled tremendously last season, completing just 67.4% of his passes for 3,025 yards, with 19 touchdowns compared to 17 interceptions across 15 games.

Already expressing enthusiasm for the Raiders, Mendoza remarked of the team, “They have a fantastic culture, a solid coaching staff, and a committed ownership group. I’m pleased with where I’m headed.”
