FBI Reveals List of “Most Wanted Scammers” Amid Ongoing Crackdown

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche recently shared details about the discovery of an elaborate 2,000-foot tunnel used for drug smuggling from Mexico into San Diego, which led to the confiscation of $45 million worth of cocaine. He also touched on broader initiatives aimed at reducing crime across the country, mentioning the arrests of three individuals in Kansas and California who were associated with an ISIS plan to target U.S. service members. In addition, the FBI’s ongoing fight against fraud was also highlighted, alongside President Donald Trump’s nomination of Blanche as the permanent attorney general.

After a series of significant arrests, Blanche expressed that he feels “honored and humbled” by President Trump’s decision to nominate him as the permanent leader of the Justice Department.

During an appearance on “Saturday in America,” Blanche laid out how the department is working to implement President Trump’s promises regarding public safety. He emphasized that they are committed to making the country safer, noting, “Look, we’re following the president’s priorities, which he’s been advocating for since his campaign.” He added, “I’m truly honored that President Trump has asked me to take on this role permanently.”

This announcement came after Trump disclosed plans to nominate Blanche for the permanent position following the resignation of former Attorney General Pam Bondi in April. Chief of Staff Susie Wiles remarked, “Todd is a friend, and I’m looking forward to continuing our collaboration.”

Blanche stepped into his acting role in April after criticisms arose regarding Bondi’s management of the Jeffrey Epstein file release.

The information comes at a time when Blanche and the Justice Department have made various arrests, including the dismantling of a highly sophisticated drug tunnel spanning between Mexico and California, which Blanche described as having rail systems and electricity.

He noted, “With the current border closures, drug traffickers are forced to use alternative methods, and this was one of their strategies.” Additionally, he discussed recent indictments against three people accused of supporting ISIS, commending federal agencies for their swift action while also noting the disturbing nature of their anti-American statements.

Blanche cautioned, “This serves as a reminder that our battle isn’t over. There are still those who might wish to harm this nation and its citizens.” He previously worked as Trump’s lead defense counsel in several legal matters involving the president.

Earlier this week, Blanche indicated that the Justice Department would not be moving forward with the establishment of a nearly $1.8 billion “anti-weaponization” fund, which was part of a settlement arrangement after Trump and his family opted to forfeit any financial claims tied to the release of his tax returns. Legal battles are ongoing concerning the fund, and Blanche stated that they would adhere to a court ruling that temporarily blocked it, confirming, “We’re not advancing plans for the fund any further.”
