On Thursday, actor Christian Oliver and his 10- and 12-year-old daughters were killed when their plane crashed into the ocean near a Caribbean island.

Oliver, whose real name is Christian Klepser, reportedly took off from JF Mitchell Airport on the small Caribbean island of Becchia on Thursday in a small single-engine plane for St. Lucia.
However, the plane ran into trouble and crashed into the sea, Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police said. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Oliver and his two daughters were the only passengers on the plane. A fourth person, Robert Sachs, the plane's pilot and owner, also died in the crash, local authorities told NBC News.
“Shortly after takeoff, the aircraft experienced difficulties and crashed into the sea,” the Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) said in a statement.
RSVGPF added: “Fishermen and divers from Paget Farm traveled by boat to the scene of the incident and provided assistance.” “The SVG Coast Guard was alerted and immediately headed to Paget Farm on Bequia Island to lead the rescue effort.”
RSVGPF further said that the victim's body was taken to the mortuary and a post-mortem examination would determine the cause of death.
