James McAvoy (Currently recruiting, X-Men: First Class) revealed that he recently injured his knee while filming what he calls an “impromptu orgy scene.”
Interview with Martin Compston and Gordon Smart restless natives McAvoy said on his podcast that the injury occurred while filming an X-rated scene for the new movie. Turn up the sun! Dozens of people were participating in an orgy there.

“We had a wonderful Spanish actor named Almudena Amor and we both had to work on it. We had to make it funny, but we also had to work on it properly and we both We were both in the same head. So we end up in this impromptu orgy and she’s bigger than me, like 5 feet 11 inches,” he continued.

McAvoy, who is 5 feet 7 inches tall and whose height has always been a source of controversy when looking for movie roles, said he held McAvoy upside down when he fell.
“At one point I was holding her upside down and doing weird things, and then someone grabbed me by the back of the neck and started biting my neck,” he said.
McAvoy said he lost his balance and hit his knee on the ground.
“I just dressed up and slammed my knees into the ground,” he said. “I think this is the only time I’ve ever been injured while making a movie.”
Given that Hollywood has been heavily enforcing the role of “intimacy coordinator” on film sets since the rise of the #MeToo movement, McAvoy did not elaborate on what an “improvised orgy scene” meant. I didn’t mention it.
