The TV star and producer called on Californians to stop voting simply because they have a “D” in their name.
“If someone has demonstrated their ability and you have a 'D' next to their name, vote for them,” she explained. “Even if they have an 'R' next to their name, don't worry about it, vote for them! Vote for the person you think can do this job.”
She also said that no one checks to see if a plumber or auto mechanic has an “R” or “D” next to their name; they hire based on customer satisfaction and competency level. pointed out.
