Actress Kate Beckinsale echoed her support for Blake Lively by sharing some of the shocking struggles she went through in the film industry despite being a millionaire star herself.

She didn't say anything about Lively's case, but added her own experiences with the harassment and abuse she endured in Hollywood.
In a tragic example, 51-year-old Beckinsale said, “The day after I miscarried, my publicist forced me to take a photo.”
“I said, 'I can't.' I'm bleeding. I don't want to change clothes and take pictures in front of strangers. I had a miscarriage and I'm bleeding,” Beckinsale wrote on Instagram. said in the video. “She was like, 'If you don't do this, you're going to be sued.'
Beckinsale also expressed concern that her fellow actors were “on something” and talked about how she was labeled a “shit” for showing up to a set too drunk to remember her lines.
“I said, 'I know it's very difficult. My co-stars are drunk every day and obviously going through something, so I completely sympathize with that, but I also have all the staff members. “Like, I'm waiting six hours a day for him to learn his lines. And that means I don't get to see my daughter at night for the entire movie.”
She also slammed Hollywood's unrealistic expectations, saying, “I was put on such a strict diet and exercise program for one movie that I completely stopped getting my period,” adding, “Such things… It happened twice,” he added.
Beckinsale also accused her of putting herself in physical danger during action scenes. She said she had been placed in “dangerous combat situations in two different movies starring two different actors” and had suffered severe injuries that were “proven by MRI scans.”
She also accused multiple productions and crew members of ostracizing her for daring to speak out about issues she faced on set, and also accused former Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, currently in prison for sexual abuse, of ostracizing her. He even claimed to have blacklisted her.
