Adam Sandler responds to false viral story about him and his daughter Sadie

This time, Adam Sandler is speaking up.

The 59-year-old actor addressed a misleading TikTok that claimed his daughter Sadie caused a stir at a Chanel store.

Sandler, who shares daughters Sadie (19) and Sunny (17) with his wife Jackie, remarked at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, “There’s something going around the internet about that ridiculous story.”

He continued, “I’ve seen it, and it’s just absurd.”

A video circulating on Tuesday featured Sandler supposedly claiming that a Chanel employee in Beverly Hills told Sadie she couldn’t touch certain items, and that she was “publicly humiliated.”

In the video, he mentions spending $312,000 on bags just to teach his team a lesson—a rather exaggerated claim.

“It’s just these bizarre, fabricated stories that people bring up,” Sandler reflected, adding, “I’ve never encountered anything like this before.” He asserted that the story is pure fiction and not a word of it is true.

To clarify the situation, the ‘Happy Gilmore’ star explained that he had asked a friend about the rumor, only to dismiss it as “nonsense.”

“It was one of the weirdest, silliest hoaxes ever. I honestly don’t understand how it happened,” Sandler admitted.

On a lighter note, he confirmed that the New York Post’s report about him enjoying an In-N-Out burger in Southern California last month was accurate.

“I have to say, the burger story is definitely true,” he told People, expressing amusement at the other tale.

During the festival, Sandler received the Martin Modern Master Award, where he expressed his gratitude to Jackie, whom he married in 2003.

He called her “the love of my life,” saying, “Thank you for keeping me motivated all these years. I love you forever.”

He also addressed his daughters, saying, “Sadie and Sunny, you are my world. I love you both more than you can ever know.”

Earlier in January, he was spotted picking up an In-N-Out meal in Cabazon, California.

Sandler was wearing his usual casual outfit: an olive-green hoodie, shorts, and sneakers.

Odeira Villeda, a regular at the fast food joint, noted, “While we were waiting, Adam Sandler just showed up in line.” Many customers were surprised to see him, especially since employees usually don’t bring their food to tables.

Sandler took time to greet fans and snap pictures before enjoying his meal.
