Administrative State Begins Leaking Information About the Bidens

Maybe President Joe Biden was never a serious member of the Washington DC establishment like Clinton, Bush or Obama were, or maybe the establishment just doesn't need him anymore.

Either way, the Biden family seems to be coming under attack after Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential race. Last month, Washington political operatives leaked damaging information about the Biden family.

One: Special counsel David Weiss said in court documents that Hunter Biden received $3,101,258 from his Romanian partner, Gabriel Popoviciu, for the purpose of “influencing United States government agencies” while Joe Biden was vice president.

The complaint stops short of accusing Hunter of “improperly coordinating with the Obama Administration,” but highlights that Biden's Department of Justice (DOJ) did not prosecute Hunter for violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) in 2023, when Joe Biden was still running for president.

two: The State Department has released documents showing Hunter Biden sought U.S. government assistance on behalf of the Ukrainian company Burisma Holdings.

The leak raises further questions about why Hunter didn't register as a foreign agent for his job with Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings just weeks after his father was named “head” of foreign policy toward Ukraine. Hunter had no experience in energy or Ukraine before joining the company's board and seeking U.S. government assistance.

three: According to Fox News, the Department of Justice revealed it had found 117 pages of records of conversations between Biden and a ghostwriter.

The report said that special counsel Robert Hur used the information to conclude that Biden was “well-intentioned, but an elderly man with a fragile memory.” The comments sent a chain reaction among members of the media who called on Biden to resign.

Washington means many things to many people, but to the politicians who come to the city to work in its bureaucracy, it's best defined as a revolving door. Staying in the Swamp's good graces requires persistence, connections and a willingness to compromise.

Joe Biden arrived in Washington as a U.S. senator in 1973, amassed influence and ties with powerful figures on his way to becoming president. He held the top job, but left office after three and a half years.

With reports surfacing that the Washington DC establishment is trying to oust Biden, it seems as though Biden will no longer be of any use to the Swamp.

Former President Barack Obama, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Senator Patty Murray (D-Wash.) and Senator Jack Reed (D-Rhode Island) all played major roles in ousting Biden. The New York Times Reported The news was released Thursday based on multiple interviews with people with direct knowledge of the incident.

The senators' participation had not previously been reported.

“What happened,” Biden later told CBS News, “was that some of my Democratic colleagues in the House and the Senate thought that I was going to hurt them in the campaign, and they were worried that if I continued to run the campaign, that would become a talking point.”
