Penthouse Pet Adva Ravi Faces Court Challenges

Adva Ravi, known as a penthouse pet and recently engaged to billionaire Stephen Krubeck, left the courtroom abruptly after a judge instructed her to hand over her Israeli passport. The court appearance on Monday morning in Van Nuys was tumultuous, with Ravi quickly departing while sporting designer attire. She chose not to comment to the California Post about her swift exit.

During the proceedings, it was disclosed that Ravi had acquired an Israeli passport on March 25, which violated her bail conditions established after her arrest. She was seen holding a prayer book during the hearing.

Investigators indicated they had evidence in the form of a recording of an Israeli consular official who stated he issued a passport to her. Furthermore, her electronic ankle monitor placed her at the consulate on the day the passport was issued.

Prosecutors requested that her bail be increased to $1 million, but Ravi surrendered her passport, acknowledging her “flight risk.” Her lawyer mentioned that she obtained the passport with intentions to marry, as she was set to marry Krubeck on June 18 in Jerusalem.

The judge opted not to increase the bail but imposed additional movement restrictions, including a requirement for her to stay away from airports and Israeli consulates. She would need permission to leave Los Angeles County.

After a somewhat confrontational exchange with her lawyer, who attempted to clarify the situation, Ravi reassured the judge that she understood the terms, stating, “I understand everything you said. I will comply.”

However, the judge cautioned that any breach of the rules could lead to significantly heightened bail conditions. An interpreter was introduced during the session when it was suggested that, despite her fluency in Hebrew, she might find the passport situation confusing due to English being her second language.

After the Israeli passport was presented in court, Ravi instructed her legal team to capture a picture for her wedding before it was handed over to the judge.

Post-hearing, Ravi left the courthouse visibly shaken as her attorney attempted to address questions from the press, emphasizing that she would comply with court orders regarding her passport.

Ravi faces a number of serious charges, including grand larceny and theft, tied to allegations that she stole from older men she met via a dating app. Meanwhile, Krubeck has also been arrested and faces charges related to trying to intimidate witnesses associated with Ravi’s case.

If he is found guilty of all charges, Krubeck could be sentenced to over 11 years in prison, while Ravi could face a similar length of incarceration if convicted. When asked about Ravi’s awareness of Krubeck’s alleged communications with witnesses, her attorney declined to comment.

Krubeck, known for his political connections, including support for Democratic representative Eric Swalwell, had expressed intentions to proceed with the marriage despite the legal troubles. The couple had previously tied the knot—but not without its complications—Ravi was once married to porn star Edan Ives, who has since sought to vouch for her character.

Ives highlighted how they met in 2019 and married in 2021. He noted that Ravi’s greatest aspiration was to become a mother.

The ongoing saga reached a significant moment when both Ravi and Ives filed for joint divorce earlier this month, adding another layer of complexity to an already tumultuous situation. Ives himself has faced legal issues, recently being sentenced due to a tragic incident involving a motorcycle rider. Ravi’s next court appearance is set for next month.
