Benjamin Satterley, widely recognized as Pac in All Elite Wrestling, paid tribute to his late colleague Andy Williams just ten days before his own passing.
On September 17, Satterley posted a nostalgic photo featuring himself and Williams, who had passed away two weeks earlier following a medical incident during a tag-team match.
The two, both sporting matching flame-patterned bandanas, posed playfully backstage at an unspecified wrestling event.
“We always knew you were an anomaly too good for this world,” Satterley expressed during a televised homage to Williams on September 12. “I just want to say I love you, man. And you always made sure that I knew you loved me too. I’ll miss you, my friend. ‘Till we meet again.”
Satterley was announced deceased at the age of 40, as stated by All Elite Wrestling on Sunday evening.
No details regarding the cause of his death have been provided.
Joining the Jacksonville-based wrestling organization in 2019, Satterley recently competed at AEW’s pay-per-view event “All Out” at NOW Arena in Chicago.
He was notably the first All-Atlantic champion in AEW and held the World Trios championship twice.
“Benjamin Satterley defined excellence, as a beloved husband & friend to his many loved ones, plus in his wrestling knowledge, skill, unprecedented athleticism, professionalism, consistency + dedication to the sport that he loved & traveled the world to pursue,” shared Tony Khan, AEW’s owner and chief operating officer.

Satterley also had a notable stint in WWE from 2012 to 2018 under the name “Neville,” during which he secured titles like the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, the NXT Championship, and the NXT Tag Team Championship.
His death coincided with a public celebration of life for Williams held that same day at Buffalo RiverWorks in Buffalo, NY.
Williams, 48, was involved in a tag team match alongside partner Jesse “The Blade” Guilmette at Mr. Small’s Theatre in Millvale, PA, when he struck his head against the ring post and subsequently collapsed.
He received CPR before being transported to Allegheny General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, as reported by Love Wrestling, the event organizers.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Williams’ death followed a medical emergency, but did not provide a preliminary cause.
“Anybody who knew Andy, they were his friend,” stated Williams’ father, Frank, during an interview. “If he had a dollar in his pocket and you needed it, he would try to get you a dollar and a quarter. He was that type of guy where money meant nothing to him, friendship meant everything, and that was my son.”
