Agrees to Resume Releasing Israeli Hostages

Hamas terrorist group said Thursday it would reverse previous compliance threats and continue to release Israeli hostages set out in the Gaza Agreement.

Financial Times Report The group had previously announced that it would suspend the release of hostages “until further notice” within the parameters of the assumed six-week ceasefire agreement, which appears to be a violation of the original contract.

In response, Israel threatened to resume the war if the next hostage group was not released as scheduled for Saturday.

US President Donald Trump also warned about Hamas' outcomes if he refuses to respect the agreement, as reported by Breitbart News.

Hamas said he received assurances that after consultations with the mediator would remove “distances” in the transaction.

“Hamas therefore confirms its ongoing position to implement contracts in accordance with those signed, including the exchange of prisoners according to designated schedules,” the group said.

Hamas is to free up three Israeli hostages on Saturday in exchange for dozens of Palestinian prisoners.

There is 73 hostage They were still in Gaza, and 17 of them were still scheduled to be released in the first phase.

Not all of them were alive, and dozens would have remained captive until the “second stage” of the contract.
