The NFL has a new candidate for Defensive Player of the Year.
Two weeks later, Aiden Hutchinson (+400) has taken the top spot on DraftKings Sportsbook’s DPOY odds board.
The Lions defensive ends were dominant, recording 10 total tackles, a league-leading 5.5 sacks and a forced fumble through the two games.
The third-year Michigan player has quickly established himself as one of the NFL's top pass rushers, recording 21 sacks in his first two seasons after being selected No. 2 overall by Detroit in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Despite last week's loss to the Buccaneers, the Lions defense looks much improved thanks to Hutchinson's stride, allowing 20 points in each game and just five yards per play through two weeks.

FanDuel Sportsbook had Hutchinson starting the season with the sixth-best odds (+1400) behind Micah Parsons, Myles Garrett, TJ Watt, Maxx Crosby and Nick Bosa.
Parsons was a +500 favorite before Week 1, but he's now priced at the fourth-best odds (+650) after the Cowboys' defense got off to a sluggish start.
