Police say the unborn body of an Alabama man was found under his car surrounded by a herd of pigs surrounded by a flock of enclosures.
Stephen Kyle Sutterfield, 51, was found dead Monday afternoon from multiple injuries from a pig he owned at his Piedmont home, according to the Piedmont Police Department. Reported by Calhoun Journal.
“The Piedmont Police Department expresses our sadness to Mr Sutterfield's friends and family,” police chief Nathan Johnson told the outlet.
“At this point, people are urged to respect the process and refrain from spreading unconfirmed details. No additional information is available until the autopsy is complete.”
Police believe Satterfield took shelter under his car after the pig broke freely.
His cause of death remains unknown as the Calhoun County Coroner's office determines whether the man suffered from a medical event prior to the presumed pig attack. Reported by Al.com.

It remains unknown what will happen to the pigs.
Police said the investigation is still ongoing.
