A 19-year-old Alabama woman died after a police pursuit when she crashed her car in the same location where her boyfriend was killed just days earlier, local law enforcement officials told AL.com.
AL.com reports that 19-year-old Jenefer L. Arellano Maldonado was killed around 12:53 a.m. Sunday when the 2019 BMW X5 she was driving while trying to flee from police went off the road and burst into flames near Riverside Baptist Church.

Just days earlier, her boyfriend, Anthony Banks Jr., was also killed in a fatal accident around 1:30 a.m. Thursday when he lost control of his car, crashed into the same church and burst into flames, according to AL.com.
As the fire continued, both the Pell City Fire Department and Riverside Fire and Rescue were called to the scene to extinguish the fire caused by the car crash.

In a Facebook post, Riverside Fire Rescue said of the church, “Riverside Baptist Church has been a staple of our small town for decades and our thoughts and prayers are with the church and the victims’ families during this difficult time.”

Both incidents remain under investigation by Alabama law enforcement agencies.
Riverside Police Chief Jake Heath did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
