Alaska Gov. Dunleavy Lauds Trump’s Energy Executive Actions

WASSINGTON – Governor Mike Dunleavy (R-AK), who claims President Donald Trump is Alaska's greatest president of all time, is serious about the Trump administration moving swiftly to unlock Alaska's energy potential He said he believes there is.

Dunleavy spoke with Breitbart News on Friday on the phone after leaving the governor's work session at the White House.

“In President Trump's first term, he was far the best president in Alaska's history. In his first few weeks, he's hard to believe – but far exceeded my expectations. , I say my expectations are higher than in the previous period,” Dunleavy said when asked about the actions the president has taken to promote. “And so extraordinary to executive orders, we are the only states that have it. We exaggerate to executive orders for energy.”

Dunleavy noted that he had regular contact with two key payers in the administration regarding Energy, Interior Secretary and Energy Secretary Chris Wright.

“I spoke with Doug Burgham a few times this week, including talking about Alaska's energy,” he added. “There's no indication that they're not serious. I get all the indications that they're very serious and that they're going to move At a fierce speed to support our gas projects Other projects in Alaska. ”

“This week I met with a representative from the Philippine government of the South Korean government. You're giving it a name, meaning we've been calling people all over the world on this pipeline project. And there's an incredible interest in those who form partnerships with it,” he added. “And I think I'm going to see a lot of papers signed here very easily.”

Dunleavy said he spoke about his relationship with Burgham, who will be important in helping Wright and Bulgham maximize Alaska's energy potential, as secretary of the interior, who oversees the 500 million acres of surfaces across the country.

“The secretary is very important, so we are in contact early. We will continue to contact him. That means we will probably be all of our land, our parks, “Indigenous people, energy, the largest portfolio inside that you will have to name it,” he said. “And when he was governor, I know Doug. A great guy, a great pick. Chris Wright – I just get to know him – a very enthusiastic, very clever guy. What he does I'm looking at whether I need to do it.”

At the state level, Dunleavy says all the ducks line up for the pipeline.

“As far as the nation is concerned, there is all the permissions for this pipeline, both federal and state. We have been working on this project for a long time, but what we're trying to do is work with the Trump administration. “We're going to get in touch with the same people and provide more detailed information when they need it,” he explains in detail.

“And we've come to make sure the permit process is robust. “There's no problem making sure all state permits are there. We've got to do most of them in order. We have, and others have a temporary timeline on them, so we only promote them. There is no problem from the state side of things. We have all the permissions , There's no problem from the federal side in question, as court cases have been beaten with federal support. So we're now in the process of forming partnerships and solidifying those partnerships.”

Dunleavy also cannot limit the industry with executive orders for future anti-energy presidents.

“It's very important and I've mentioned this week, with the governor and secretary, several times this week, that it's making it very difficult to want to invest in resource play, especially.” He said. Ta. “And we get that when the administration comes out and the new administration comes in, they're probably going to Alaska, so not only get to the agency, but get that's embedded in the law. It needs to be. For years, it's been twitching things, making it very unstable and there's no certainty. That means there's no investment. That means there's no project So that's very important.”
