The Baldwins are ready for their moment in the spotlight.
TLC released: first teaser Monday on Alec and Hilaria Baldwin's reality show. The series, which will premiere on February 23, follows a couple as they deal with the “challenges and humor” that come with raising seven children in public.
The trailer also covers the aftermath of the October 2021 shooting death of Halina Hutchins on the set of Alec's western film The Last.
“My son lost his mother in an unthinkable tragedy,” Hilaria, 41, said of Hutchins' son Andros.
“This is something we should never forget,” Hilaria added. “We're trying to get through this experience as parents.”
In the next scene, Alec, 66, says to his wife: “Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, I don't know what I would have done without you and these kids.”
The teaser also shows Hilaria instructing one of her children to ignore paparazzi taking pictures from nearby.
“We had some bad times, but we found our footing,” Hilaria says in voiceover. “We are strong and we are here together.”
TLC's description of the premiere episode reads, “Alec and Hilaria celebrate their oldest son Rafael's 9th birthday and head to East Hampton to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, continuing their annual summer tradition. There is uncertainty in the midst of the celebrations as they face trial. Alec and Hilaria are navigating the complex emotions of this moment while keeping their children's lives as stable as possible.
Alec and Hilaria filmed the show last year during the actor's trial for filming the movie Lust.
The “30 Rock'' alum accidentally fired a real, loaded gun on the set of “The Last'' in New Mexico in October 2021, killing 42-year-old cinematographer Hutchins and director Joel Souza. I was injured.
Alec was charged with manslaughter. He faced up to 18 months in prison, but during a trial in July 2024, a judge threw out the case and accused prosecutors of withholding key evidence from the defense.
Alec and Hilaria have been married since 2012 and have children Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 9, Romeo, 8, Eduardo, 7, Lucia, 3, and Ilaria, 3. . Alec also has a 29-year-old daughter, Ireland. Ex-wife Kim Basinger.
