Alex Soros and Huma Abedin began their wedding weekend with a cozy rehearsal dinner on Friday night.
The event took place at his mother Susan Weber Soros’ Waterfront Estate on Shelter Island, New York, where friends and family gathered.
Susan, who was married to George Soros from 1983 to 2005, acquired the property in 2013 for around $5.95 million. The charming beachside home spans 4,358 square feet, set on 1.37 acres, featuring five bedrooms and five bathrooms.
For the dinner, Abedin wore an elegant champagne-colored gown paired with white heels, while Alex complemented her in a tan suit.
The pair strolled through the estate grounds, enjoying the evening together.
Clinton, who is anticipated to be among the notable guests, was seen chatting with Abedin’s 13-year-old son, Jordan.
Leading up to the wedding, there was a notable police presence in the Hamptons.
Alex, aged 39, and Abedin, 48, are set to exchange vows in front of a star-studded audience at the Soros family mansion in Southampton, New York.
Earlier this year, Page Six exclusively revealed that the couple had sent out save-the-date cards for their upcoming wedding.
After getting engaged last summer during a trip to Italy, Alex announced the happy news.
A longtime friend of Abedin described their relationship, noting it feels effortlessly joyful, especially following some challenging years.
Rumors about their romance first emerged in February 2024, when they were spotted dining together in Paris on Valentine’s Day.
Afterward, sources mentioned that they represent a classic couple from the Clinton circle.
An insider mentioned that Alex is a perfect match for Huma, highlighting his wealth and power as qualities she values.
Since their relationship began to flourish, they have appeared together at various events, including the 2024 Met Gala.
Previously, Abedin was married to politician Anthony Weiner, tying the knot in 2010. However, she filed for divorce in May 2017 after his sexting scandal came to light.
