Alexandra Grant addresses relationship status amid wedding speculation

Keanu Reeves’ longtime partner has addressed speculation about their possible wedding. Alexandra Grant took to Instagram to clear the air, sharing photos of the pair enjoying a kiss while visiting the Roden Crater art installation in Arizona.

“This is a real photo. It’s not an engagement photo or an AI wedding announcement… it’s just a kiss!” she wrote. “We’re in Roden Crater, and Keanu and I just wrapped up an interview with James Turrell.”

She went on to express gratitude to those who congratulated them, emphasizing that, contrary to the rumors, they didn’t actually tie the knot. “There’s a lot of news circulating, but it’s mostly just misinformation—so be cautious!”

Rumors started back in June 2025 when the couple was seen together at the premiere of “The Ballerina,” with Grant sporting what some thought was an engagement ring. This week, some reports suggested they had secretly married in a private ceremony in Europe. However, Grant’s recent post, along with a statement from Reeves’ representatives, confirmed they are not married.

The couple first went public with their relationship in November 2019 at the LACMA Art + Film Gala. At that time, sources indicated Reeves was “very happy and grateful” to have Grant in his life. Grant has also mentioned in interviews that being in a relationship as an adult has allowed her to stay confident and focused in her career.

Reflecting on their dynamic, she noted, “He serves as a huge inspiration for me. His creativity and kindness are remarkable,” adding that although filmmaking typically involves many people, she views their collaboration as an individual artistic journey.

Since revealing their relationship, Reeves and Grant have made several public appearances together and were often seen enjoying date nights. They initially met in 2009 at a dinner party and have since collaborated on creative projects, including Reeves’ books, “Ode to Happiness” and “Shadows.”
