Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez blames VP JD Vance for the Minnesota ICE shooting.

In light of the recent shooting incident involving ICE agents in Minnesota, Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has sharply criticized Vice President J.D. Vance. Ocasio-Cortez expressed disbelief at Vance’s apparent acceptance of the violent actions taken against a young mother of three. She stated, “I understand that Vice President Vance believes that shooting a young mother of three in the face three times is an acceptable America that he wants to live in, but I don’t believe that’s the case.”

This backlash followed the death of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good, who was confronted by ICE agents while inside her vehicle in Minneapolis on Wednesday. Reports indicate that Good was involved with a group called ‘ICE Watch,’ highlighting her role as an immigration activist.

As video of the incident started circulating widely, the shooting received extensive criticism from Democrats, while the Trump administration came out in defense of the ICE agents’ actions. During a White House briefing, Vance characterized the response as an attack on federal law enforcement, stating, “This is an attack on law and order.” He described Good’s actions as a disruption to legitimate law enforcement operations and asserted that she was possibly influenced by a “broader left-wing network.”

Meanwhile, federal sources confirmed that Good was indeed an immigration activist based in Minneapolis and a member of ICE Watch. In response to Vance’s comments, Ocasio-Cortez articulated her stance, saying, “That’s the fundamental difference between Vice President Vance and me. I don’t think Americans should be assassinated in the streets.”

A spokesperson for the vice president countered Ocasio-Cortez’s claims, saying that she suggested the radical left should have the freedom to harm ICE officers openly, an assertion which they termed shameful. The spokesperson emphasized that the vice president and the American populace stand in support of law enforcement.
