German track and field star Alika Schmidt, dubbed the “world’s sexiest athlete,” has qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics three years after a tough run in Tokyo.
Schmidt was part of the team that qualified for the mixed 4×400 meter race at the 24th World Athletics Relays Bahamas. According to the newspaper, Schmidt posted several times on his Instagram Stories celebrating the accomplishment. new york post.

On Tuesday, Schmidt and his teammates celebrated by traveling around Nassau. She posted on her Stories a picture of herself swimming on an island with some pigs.

Schmidt is an accomplished track athlete who competes on the European circuit. In 2017, she helped the German team win a silver medal in the 4×400 relay at the 2017 European Athletics U20 Championships. Schmidt and his teammates won bronze at the 2019 European Athletics U23 Championships.
The team will finish in 6th place at the 2022 European Championship. She and her team also failed to qualify for the World Track and Field Championships in Oregon.
She said she was taking a “hiatus” from competing in 2021 after missing out on a medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
