Football Stars Gather for Wedding Celebration
This year’s wedding attracted many familiar faces from the football scene.
On Friday night, friends of Travis Kelce, particularly from the Kansas City Chiefs and the NFL, gathered at Madison Square Garden for a celebration with him and Taylor Swift.
Among the attendees were fellow tight end George Kittle and his wife, Clare. Clare shared a moment with Kristin Juszczyk, wife of San Francisco fullback Kyle Juszczyk, in a friendly photo.
The image, posted by makeup artist Arbella, shows Kittle, Juszczyk, and Camryn Barry, girlfriend of tight end Robert Tonyan, smiling as Swift’s song played in the background.
Earlier in June, the Kittles had confirmed their plans to attend the wedding.
Interestingly, Kittle and Kelce are also co-hosts of a tight end summer camp held in Nashville. At the time of their wedding confirmation, the only detail shared was about George’s attire: a blue suit. “That’s all I have. Nothing else,” he joked, while Claire mentioned their tailor, Stitched by Mitch.
Another notable guest was Brittany Mahomes, married to Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. As of Saturday morning, wedding photos were yet to emerge, but Brittany shared a pre-wedding picture of herself with Patrick.
The Mahomes and Kelseys have shared several moments at Chiefs games, so it’s no wonder that during a concert at Arrowhead Stadium, their 3-year-old shouted “Taylor” when spotting a photo of the singer.
Seattle Seahawks player Cooper Kupp and his wife, Anna Marie, were also present and dressed for the occasion.
Among others spotted at Madison Square Garden were Anna DeMar, who recently got engaged, and Chiefs offensive lineman Creed Humphrey.
Anna posted a picture on her Instagram Story of her turquoise dress for the celebration, though she didn’t reveal many details about the wedding itself.
Cooper Kupp arrived alongside his wife, dressed in a red gown, while his former Rams teammate Matthew Stafford made an appearance as well.
The Staffords, in coordinating green outfits, made quite the statement—a dark green tux for Matthew and a shiny green gown for Kelly.
JuJu Smith-Schuster, formerly with the Chiefs and now a Giant, attended with his fiancée Laura Crook, who wore a dress similar to that of Swift’s best friend.
Giants legend Michael Strahan commented on the event, calling it “amazing.” Kansas City manager Andy Reid and troubled New England manager Mike Vrabel were also part of the distinguished guest list.
