of jerusalem post office report Amazon has announced that a whistleblower has revealed a pattern of anti-Israel and pro-Hamas sentiment among employees on the company's internal communications platform. The whistleblower, who allegedly works as a programmer at Amazon, said the comments were made in Amazon's Slack channel, which boasts more than 3,000 members. Slack is a popular team communication platform used by many companies across the country.

Additionally, the whistleblower claimed that pro-Palestinian flyers depicting a watermelon in the shape of Israel, symbolizing the replacement of Israel with an Arab-Palestinian state, were distributed at Amazon offices around the world. The whistleblower also claimed that calls to “from the river to the sea” were regularly posted on an Amazon Slack channel where employees tried to raise money for Islamic Relief Worldwide affiliates in Canada. Israel banned the organization over its alleged funding of Hamas.
“I don't know how the Palestinians achieved their freedom, but simply asking for kindness is not the solution,” Amazon employee Rais Abad said in a post. This sentiment was echoed by another employee, Zaid Akel, who said: “I support Hamas because I support any revolution against the occupiers.” Akel's post further claimed that the Israeli hostages were “well treated” by Hamas, a statement echoed by other employees on the platform.
Internal communications also included accusations against Israel of organ theft, rape, and placing explosives in children. Karl Hage, an Amazon employee and moderator of the Amazon Slack community, also reportedly admitted to censoring Israeli voices that tried to counter these narratives.
