As Amazon Studios embarks on a new Hollywood production deal to produce faith-based entertainment for Christians, the company is preparing to release a new animated series celebrating Lucifer and the devil.
“Hazbin Hotel” is an adult animated series scheduled to debut on Amazon Prime Video on Friday. The series, produced by indie giant A24, centers on the character Morningstar, Lucifer's daughter and reigning “princess of hell” Charlie.
Charlie, like a rebel, hatches a plan to solve Hell's overpopulation problem by sending damned souls to Heaven. Helping her is her friend and ex-porn star “Vaggy”.
