A former “American Ninja Warrior” champion has been sentenced to more than 10 years in prison for child pornography and forcing a minor to engage in sex acts across state lines.
Andrew Dreschusel, 35, was sentenced Wednesday in Camden federal court by Chief U.S. District Judge Renee M. Bambu to 121 months in prison.
The St. Cloud, Florida, man pleaded guilty on June 1 to one count of receiving child pornography and one count of knowingly persuading, inducing, enticing or coercing a minor to engage in sexual conduct across state lines.
In addition to his prison sentence, Dreschsel was placed on probation for 15 years and ordered to pay $100,000 in restitution to the victim.
From 2014 to 2019, Dreschusel lived in Hamden, Connecticut.

The child sexual abuse reportedly occurred when the victims were 14 and 15 years old.
On November 8, 2019, law enforcement officers searched Dreschsel’s cell phone and discovered child sex crime imagery, including illicit photographs and videos of underage victims.
Dreschsel admitted to sending text messages to the victim and discussing plans to engage in sexual activity with her.

When the allegations against Dreschusel were filed in 2020, NBC said it was “shocked and disturbed to learn of the allegations against Drew Dreschusel.”
