Mike Wolf’s Recovery Following Serious Car Crash
Mike Wolf, known for his role in “American Pickers,” recently reflected on finding peace amidst the chaos after a car accident. Following this incident, he spent some time in the hospital and shared that being home with his girlfriend, Leticia Klein, has been quite comforting for him.
At 61, Wolf took to social media, asking fans for “good energy and prayers” just before Klein underwent surgery after suffering severe injuries, such as a broken jaw, broken rib, and a collapsed lung from the crash.
Klein’s injuries were more serious than Wolf’s, prompting him to stay multiple nights in a Columbia, Tennessee hospital. She kept her followers updated about her recovery journey on social media, detailing that her jaw is broken in three areas. Although she experiences quite a bit of swelling, doctors remain optimistic about her recovery.
Klein mentioned that the medical team is working on reconstructing her jaw, stating, “There are three incisions on the outside of the face for surgery, and they are really positive for almost complete recovery. But that’s a long recovery.”
Wolf expressed gratitude for the care they both received, acknowledging how lucky they felt given the accident. He shared images of his damaged car, a cherished vintage model, emphasizing the impact of the crash.
As Klein documented her experience, she held up a naloxone nasal spray prescription, raising awareness about the risks associated with the medications she must take due to her injuries. Reflecting on the many surgeries she’s endured in the past, Klein wrote, “I will never take a break.” Despite the challenges, she is hopeful and determined to heal.
In a heartfelt message, Wolf thanked fans for their support and understanding of their need for privacy during this tough time. Both he and Klein are leaning on their shared strength to navigate their recovery, with Wolf stating, “By God’s grace, we are safe.”
Klein concluded her updates by mentioning her surgery plans, saying, “Hopefully I’ll have surgery tomorrow.” It’s evident that both are focusing on the path ahead as they work through their injuries.
