Threats to American Citizens Post-Biden’s Border Policy

Representative Ralph Norman (R-SC) has raised concerns about the dangers citizens face across the U.S. following former President Joe Biden’s open border policy.

According to reports, authorities charged six illegal immigrants in connection with the murder of Larisha Thompson, a South Carolina mother. She was fatally shot in a random incident while heading to meet a friend in Rock Hill back in May.

“The two kids don’t have their mother at home. It could happen anywhere, anytime. That’s the sad reality we’re seeing nationwide,” Norman shared. He emphasized that while the current focus might be on safety, it’s been four years since borders were left open to individuals from over 160 countries, highlighting how one wouldn’t invite randomness into their home. Yet, Norman expressed concern that Democrats haven’t held Biden accountable for these policies. “But it’s a new day,” he remarked.

Reports indicate that the individuals implicated in Thompson’s death exchanged chilling messages about the crime after abandoning her body in her vehicle.

In a CNN interview this year, Norman pointed out the risks accompanying an open border, a sentiment he reiterated during a Fox interview where he noted, “The unknown is something we fear.” He mentioned that while federal officials are actively working to manage the situation, the uncertainty remains. “We’ve removed many, but it’s still unclear who else is out there,” he stated.

Recently, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) apprehended 11 Iranians, with these arrests coming shortly after actions taken by former President Donald Trump to target specific nuclear sites in Iran. Authorities highlighted that these individuals were either known or suspected terrorists.
