When it comes to playing on the golf course, John Daly, like most competitors, has lost far more than he has won. That's golf. But with that being said, there's one thing Daly has a monopoly on in the sports realm, and that's drinking alcohol.
Over the years, we've heard story after story about Daly and the damage he could do to the tab. Most of them have the same ending with Daley being the last person to drink, but no matter who he's with, he either completely tanks or gets into some comical scenes. . Andrew “Beef” Johnstona professional golfer who plays on the European Tour, is one of the stars of the sport and shares his story. While in Turkey for the final round of the Turkish Airlines Open, he got a chance to have a few drinks with Daley.
“He orders a couple of big bottles of whiskey and has a can of Coke next to him,” Johnston said during an appearance on the DP World Tour podcast. “The waiter put them down and he said, 'Can I order two more?'” I was like, 'Buddy, they just came.'
“Then I'm swinging through a tree and jumping into a pool in just my pants. I'm like, 'He looks okay, but I'm not okay!' I woke up and said, “What happened?'' My mistake at the time was, “Yeah, you took your pants off and you were shaking this bush for some reason…I was going to jump in the pool.'' That's what it was. I said, “What did John do?”
