Andy Cohen is unexpectedly getting along with Bravo stars as the Leah McSweeney lawsuit approaches.

Andy Cohen’s Shift in Attitude

Andy Cohen isn’t typically known for his friendly approach to rivals.

However, he seems to be on a mission these days to mend fences, address neglected grievances, and resolve ongoing disputes with former Real Housewives personalities like Carole Radziwill and Nene Leakes, as well as Kathy Griffin, who has stepped into Cohen’s role as CNN’s New Year’s Eve host.

Perhaps he’s had a change of heart, or maybe there’s more at play. One source within the Bravo world hinted that the connection might be linked to a lawsuit filed by Leah McSweeney, a past star of the franchise, which currently awaits a court’s decision. Notably, Leakes, Radziwill, and Griffin are mentioned in that suit.

“I think he’s worried about the lawsuit,” the source suggested.

In 2024, McSweeney claimed in legal documents that producers exploited her struggles with alcoholism, intentionally trying to derail her sobriety for the sake of high ratings. Bravo, on their part, has denied any wrongdoing.

While a judge dismissed some allegations in the case, significant portions remain, including her assertion that “the producers directly coerced and harassed her concerning her addiction.” This lawsuit marks a notable first—it’s the initial complaint launched by a former cast member against the network and is set to be heard in open court.

Previously, McSweeney made headlines when she accused Cohen of using cocaine with selected cast members. Griffin has echoed that sentiment, claiming Cohen utilized cocaine and even reached out to him before a 2017 appearance on his show, an assertion Cohen thoroughly denies. Interestingly, Radziwill had maintained a close relationship with Cohen throughout this tumultuous period.

On a separate note, Leakes, who had previously sued Bravo over discrimination claims, is now back with the network, though it’s unclear how that agreement came to be. In a recent statement, Bravo mentioned that an external investigation into the allegations presented by McSweeney concluded they were unfounded.
