Andy Cohen Responds to Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Critique
Andy Cohen has shown his support for Sarah Michelle Gellar after she shared her thoughts on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” particularly during her recent appearance on Page Six Radio.
In the latest episode of Radio Andy, Cohen discussed Gellar’s remarks about Season 15, which she described as “boring.” He noted that the interview occurred in his studio.
Cohen voiced his disappointment about a guest on his show criticizing a program he produces. “She was wrong, by the way,” he playfully asserted regarding Gellar’s takes on “RHOBH.”
During her chat on Page Six Radio, Gellar didn’t hold back when she was asked about her enjoyment of the current season. Her response? “No.” When pressed for specifics, she stated simply, “I think it’s boring!”
Yet, Gellar did express her fondness for certain cast members, saying, “I love Rachel” and mentioning that she’s a great addition. She also showed appreciation for Kathy Hilton and Jen Tilly, even suggesting a spin-off featuring them. However, she has mixed feelings about the new cast member Amanda Francis.
Her assessment of Francis was blunt: “I don’t think she’s polarizing. I just don’t think anyone enjoys her,” although she did add that Francis is probably a “nice person.”
Gellar described the season as having been slow-paced but noted that things were starting to pick up as it progressed. She emphasized that to participate in such a show, cast members need to be ready to be open and genuine, expressing concern that Francis might not fully grasp that expectation.
The current cast features Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, and Sutton Stracke, alongside St. John, Francis, Hilton, and Tilly. “RHOBH” airs Thursday evenings at 8 PM ET on Bravo, with episodes available for streaming the next day on Peacock.
