Comedian Andy Dick’s Recent Disturbing Episodes

Last month, a video surfaced showing comedian Andy Dick slurring his speech while drinking on Hollywood Boulevard, not far from an incident where he appeared to overdose earlier this week.

In a clip shared on Instagram on November 9, the 59-year-old comedian was seated on the sidewalk, sporting a “VIP” pass, and sipping a clear drink. He oddly claimed that the musical duo Outkast had a fondness for him.

“What’s up Andy, you’re a nice guy,” said Joe Andalolo, the cameraman in the video.

“You always look good, thank you,” Dick responded.

Upon learning that Outkast was performing nearby, Dick expressed his disappointment at not meeting them, mentioning how he remembered them from their days on MTV.

“Why didn’t you invite me?” Dick asked, visibly upset.

“They were right there, Andre and the big boys,” Andalolo replied.

“No! Do you think I’m joking?” Dick shot back. “No, I swear to God,” Andalolo reassured him.

“I know them! From the MTV days. I mean, I’m on Curb now and they’re on their show. But different things, different lives,” Dick added.

He continued, saying, “You don’t know how much they love me. I’m so mad that you guys didn’t tell me.”

This video was shared about a month before he was spotted in troubling photos by TMZ that depicted him seemingly overdosing in Hollywood.

In these images, he appeared to be leaning forward with eyes shut, dressed in blue plaid pajama pants and a tan jacket, with his glasses on the pavement next to a beverage can.

A bystander called out for Narcan, the critical medication used to reverse opioid overdoses.

Someone was then seen giving Dick the medication, and he reportedly regained consciousness shortly after.

Although first responders arrived on the scene, Dick declined any further medical assistance.

The cameraman in the November clip noted, “Andy Dick. He was on the ground, just hanging out. He looked fine. Compared to the last time I saw him, he looked fine. He looked fine. He looked fine.”

One commenter recalled a time when they ran into Dick at a gas station in Encino, mentioning he had asked for a ride to a friend’s house, noting that he was calm and approachable.

Dick has had multiple legal encounters and is often seen intoxicated on the streets of Los Angeles. He faced arrest in January 2023 for public intoxication and failing to register as a sex offender. Additionally, in 2016, he disclosed that he had entered drug rehab programs 20 times throughout his life.
