Things seem to be heating up between Angelina Jolie and British rapper Akala.
Akala reportedly introduced the Oscar winner, 49, to friends and family. A source told the Daily Mail. Monday.
Sources claim that the two bonded over their “shared love for history and the wellspring of knowledge.”
Akala, 40, is said to be “educating Angelina about Britain's colonial past and prominent black people in Britain”.
“Akara is teaching Angelina Jolie a lot about black British history as she searches for new sources for her films,” a source for the outlet said of the rumored couple.
“He introduced her to the story of Kelso Cochran. She's an avid historian, so we had a lot of conversations about Olive Morris and Kelso.”
Meanwhile, neither the Mr. and Mrs. Smith actress nor Akala have publicly confirmed their relationship, but sources claim he loves Jolie's “fearlessness and independence.”
“They meet regularly and hang out together,” the source added. They were also spotted separately attending the London Film Festival on Thursday.
According to the tabloid's sources, Akala's sister is British rapper Ms. Dynamite, and Jolie is also interested.
“The two met through a charity they were both supporting. Angelina wanted to know more about his work and loved her sister's music,” they said.
Meanwhile, another source told the outlet that there is “no romantic relationship” between the mother-of-six and the Carried Away musician.
They even claimed that Akala was dating his business partner, Chanel Newman.
This new development in Jolie and Akala's relationship comes amid reports that claim the two spent time together at her hotel in London.
“Angelina and Akala have been secretly spending the night together at The Corinthia hotel in London,” a source said. told The Sun on monday.
“Angelina arrived at the hotel via the luggage storage around 8pm on Wednesday and met up with Akala around 10pm. It didn't come out.”
Akala and Jolie reportedly “use separate cars and secret entrances to keep their relationship secret,” but their romance is described as “real.”
Aside from last week's outing, the British native and Jolie were photographed at the New York Film Festival on Sept. 29. She was also pictured with Jolie's son Pax, 20, who she had with ex-husband Brad Pitt.
Previously, on September 28, Akala and Jolie were spotted attending an event in New York ahead of the film festival.
Jolie was married to Pitt, 60, from 2014 until they divorced in 2016. The two were declared legally single in 2019 and are still embroiled in divorce proceedings.
