Anthony Kim’s LIV Golf video sent to “haters” goes viral

Anthony Kim officially joined LIV Golf earlier this week.It looks like he will play even though he signed as a wild card with no team Remains of 2024 LIV Seasonaccording to a press release from LIV.

LIV CEO Greg Norman posted a video promoting the news over the weekend, but now it’s Kim’s turn.

Saudi Support Tour spoke with him. during a practice round It was held before LIV Jeddah at the Royal Greens Golf and Country Club in King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia.

Kim then posted a video on her Instagram account (posted by NUCLR GOLF to X) that included a montage of her playing days, ending with her dropping the microphone.

“Hello, haters, I’m back,” the video read on a pitch black screen. This video has already been viewed nearly 500,000 times. new IG account Thanks to that, we already have over 21,000 followers.

It seems that the former rising star will not avoid criticism by joining LIV.

LIV Tour then posted a video on X’s account, in which Kim shared insight into her current mental state.

“Right now I’m focused on playing well this week. I have a few weeks of competitive golf in front of me, so I’ll tell my story when the time is right,” Kim said. “I’m focused on golf. I’m excited to be out here with my daughter and family. Enjoy the experience LIV has to offer.”

The video follows him on the golf course wearing a white “Girl Daddy” T-shirt and black shorts, rocking a white LIV golf hat and long hair. Traditional costume, anyone?

He continues to add pieces to his game and understands that 11 years is a long time to depart from professional golf.

“I missed the competitive part of the game,” he said. “I’m not saying it was just golf, but in the heat of the moment, we had an opportunity to do something special, and I look forward to having that opportunity again. I was blessed with a little bit of talent, but a little bit of effort goes a long way, so I’m hoping for a good result.”

He’s not nervous right now, but that could change Friday when he tees off as LIV Golf’s season-long wild card.

At 38 years old, Kim is no longer a spring chicken. However, that fact did not deter him from issuing a strong statement to end the video.

“I’ve done some work and I’m ready to go,” he said. “I’m 38 years old now, so I don’t know most people, but I’m here to bust everyone’s butt.”

Kim has made his long-awaited return, and while he may not be on the PGA Tour, he is a player who could turn heads. LIV Golf may have just hit the ace in the hole.
