Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, known as AOC (or, in Dave Rubin's words, “the magician of the Hamas caucus”), is the queen of destructive ideas. But her views on Israel and Palestine are just the tip of the iceberg. She is a supporter of open borders, so it's no wonder her plans to combat the illegal immigration crisis that is suffocating our country are so downright contemptuous.
It's so bad it's actually almost funny. According to AOC, the large number of illegal aliens entering our country can be solved very easily.
“One of the biggest issues we have with immigration, from all political sides, is the fact that we have people here illegally,” she told Desus Nice on “The Daily Show.”
“Now you can solve problems by trying to build walls, or you can solve problems by documenting people and creating a path to citizenship,” she said. “People don't have a documented and reliable path to work and support themselves like our ancestors and grandparents did.”
Translation: Reward illegal immigrants who break the law with citizenship and resources at the expense of American citizens.
“Our ancestors and grandparents came here legally,” Dave sighs, pointing out the obvious flaw in his argument.
“There are 12 million people here. [and] It is unclear how many people are crossing the border. Just document it, send it, hand over the papers and the problem is solved,” he scoffs. “That doesn't solve any problems.”
