Apple Autumn Events on September 9th According to an invitation sent on Monday, the company is expected to hold an event at its headquarters in Cupertino, California, to announce a new iPhone line as well as other device and app updates.
The upcoming announcements will be crucial for Apple as it seeks to reverse a global sales slowdown, especially in China, and outline its artificial intelligence roadmap.
At its developers conference in June, Apple announced a series of AI features under the name “Apple Intelligence,” including improved Siri and integration with ChatGPT.
However, these features will only be available on the latest Apple devices and will be rolled out gradually starting later this year.
Apple is facing increasing pressure from rivals such as Samsung and Alphabet’s Google, which recently unveiled AI features alongside their new Galaxy and Pixel smartphones, respectively.

The invitation for Apple’s event read “It’s Glowtime,” but no further details were given. The company typically unveils new iPhones and watches at its biggest product launch event each year, the fall event.
iPhone sales have slowed in recent years due to a lack of significant upgrades with new models and competition from Android-based smartphone brands that offer high-end specifications at lower prices.
Apple reported better-than-expected third-quarter sales thanks to its latest iPhone 15 series, which is set to include new AI features. Overall sales in China fell 6.5% more than expected, due to pressure from Chinese smartphone brands, mainly Huawei.
