Israeli actress Gal Gadot faces online boycotts from several Arab groups opposed to Israel following Disney's release of Snow White“ A live-action film in which she plays the role of the evil queen. The letter further argued that “professions have tried to infiltrate audiences through screens to whitewash the crime, in order to break psychological barriers using artists and actors and end the imposed isolation.”
According to Christian POStthe campaign also sought boycotts of all films with Israeli actors and actresses.
“The film starring Israeli actors directly contributes to the goals of the profession. We urge film owners not to screen it, opposed to all forms of cultural and artistic normalization. We call on the free public to boycott the film and Disney.”
In another boycott campaign, the Kuwait Democratic Youth Union urged cinemas to ban “Snow White”“ Because Gadot is in the film. Kuwait It was previously banned Movie “Death of the Nile River”“ In 2022, as Gadot played the leading female role.
