Are liberal cities actually REVERSING course on crime policies?!

For some inexplicable reason, liberal cities thought that decriminalizing misdemeanors, defunding the police, and making the justice system more flexible would somehow lead to improvement.

Well, it wasn’t. They may be surprised that their woke policies have failed miserably, but Sara Gonzalez is certainly not shocked.

This Tuesday, disgruntled San Francisco voters “overwhelmingly voted in favor of several ballot measures aimed at quelling the surge in crime and drugs,” Sara reported.

“They introduced Measure E, which would expand police powers by making it easier for officers to track suspects and provide police with new cameras and drones, and Measure F, which would require drug testing for adults on welfare. I voted.”

Both Measure E and Measure F were passed with a support rate of 60%.

“What a crazy, crazy change,” says Blaze’s lead researcher and author Jason Butrill. “Just a few years ago, when they brought in Chesa Boudin as a radical prosecutor, he was “basically a Marxist.”

San Francisco isn’t the only city going backwards.

“Oregon is also recriminalizing drugs,” Jason said, and New York Governor Kathy Hochul is “putting the National Guard in the metro.”

While this shift in crime-related policy is certainly encouraging, especially in light of Biden’s open border policies, Sarah can’t help but wonder if it’s “too late to put the genie back in the bottle.”

Millions of illegal immigrants are being brought into this country, yet many liberal politicians continue to say that “immigration crime is not increasing.”

“Ask Laken Riley’s family if immigrant crime is on the rise,” Jason says.
