Tom Sandoval is under fire for suing Ariana Madix a year ago after he was caught cheating on her with his friend Raquel Revis for months.
Madix’s attorney, Jordan Sussman, told Page Six in a statement that Sandoval, 42, “has been in a continuing relationship for a long time.”[ing] He accused his ex-girlfriend of accessing explicit videos of Revis on his phone without his “permission or approval” and did so to “torment” her.
The cover band frontman claims in court documents: Obtained by Us Weekly Maddix, 39, allegedly made “copies” of the footage and sent them to “Reavis and third parties.”
“We are confident that a jury will see through this latest tactic and reject the defendants’ baseless claims,” Maddix’s lawyers said.
“It’s telling that Sandoval has begged Maddix for forgiveness only to then accuse her of his wrongdoings,” Sussman wrote. “He has clearly learned nothing and believes he needs to continue to tormenting Maddix in order to salvage his own image.”
The lawyer called Sandoval’s legal filing an “attempt to further avoid personal responsibility for the impact his actions had on her and her mental health” after they “entered into an extramarital affair” and then “shut up.”[ering] Her home and stability.”
Sussman argued that Sandoval was “fully aware of the privileges he and Maddix shared with respect to personal communications devices.”
The former couple’s “Vanderpump Rules” co-star Katie Maloney expressed similar sentiments, slamming him on Instagram.
“He shared his phone password with his partner at the time,” Maroney, 37, wrote in a comment. “I think the guy was confused about how it worked. … You’re such a disgusting guy.”
Sandoval shut down his Instagram account after coming under fire from Bravo fans for a profile on Tom Tom Restaurant & Bar, which he and co-owner Tom Schwartz own.

Sandoval’s lawyer told Us Weekly on Wednesday that the lawsuit is a “countersuit” to a lawsuit Reavis filed in February against Sandoval and Maddix.
At the time, the former beauty queen accused her co-stars of revenge porn, wiretapping, intentional infliction of emotional distress and invasion of privacy.
“This customary legal action was critical to ensure that liability, if any, would be apportioned fairly based on each party’s actual involvement and degree of negligence,” Sandoval’s attorney, Matthew Geragos (brother of Revis’ attorney, Mark Geragos), wrote.
Sandoval and Revis’ affair came to light in March 2023, when Maddix saw a clip of an intimate FaceTime video on her then-partner’s phone.
In her February lawsuit, Revis said she “feared” she would be “leaked” after Maddix sent her “two screen recordings and a text that said, ‘You’re as good as dead to me.'”

Maddix and Sandoval have both countersued Reavis, and Schwartz and Sandy Partners have moved to dismiss the cases, but a judge in April granted Reavis the right to continue the lawsuit.
