Arielle Zuckerberg, the younger sister of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, has recently disclosed that she has been pursuing a clandestine career as a DJ since 2018. This revelation came after a video of her set during San Francisco Tech Week made its way online.
Arielle shared her passion on a social media site, stating, “I’ve been DJing since 2018. I’ve played at clubs, small festivals, and even at Burning Man. While I’m technically a professional, it’s more of a side venture for me. I mainly play for friends to share some joy and have fun.”
Now 37, she specializes in techno and electronic music and is part of a DJ duo called Ellen Ride with Raed Khawaja. They’ve released tracks on platforms like SoundCloud, including one titled “Attention.”
Like her brother, Arielle has a background in tech and worked as a product manager at various companies, including Wildfire, Google, and Humin, before venturing into the world of venture capital. She subsequently became a general partner at Long Journey Ventures after serving as a partner at Kleiner Perkins and Coatue Management.
In 2019, she earned a spot on Forbes’ 30 under 30 list in the venture capital sector. Arielle graduated from Claremont McKenna College in 2011, where she studied psychology, public affairs, and computer science.
Born in 1989, Arielle is the youngest sibling in the Zuckerberg family, following Randi, Mark, and Donna.
