Tragic Incident in Arizona Involving Family
Authorities in Arizona responded to an emergency at a residence where a woman had allegedly threatened her husband’s children. However, only one child was discovered at the scene.
The investigation revealed that Andrea Clarice Davis, 38, sent her husband a disturbing photo of their injured child before taking the lives of her two children and then her own.
Glendale police spokesperson Jose Santiago reported that the husband called 911 shortly after midnight, stating there had been a shooting outside Tailgator’s Sports Bar and Grill.
He noticed Davis with another woman and fired a weapon at them as they attempted to flee. Tragically, the other woman was shot in the back of the head during the incident.
The husband expressed concerns that Davis had threatened their two children prior to the police being dispatched to their home, located just a couple of miles from the bar.
Shortly thereafter, he received a troubling photo of one of their children bleeding, prompting him to alert the authorities.
Police arrived at the home around 2:30 a.m., breaking in due to alarming messages that Davis had sent to her husband. Inside, they discovered the bodies of their children, 18-month-old Andran and 10-year-old Austin, along with Davis, who had also taken her own life.
Felicia Queen, the father’s cousin, shared her disbelief at the tragedy, stating, “They were so young… They had their whole lives ahead of them. It just feels so unfair. I can’t even imagine what my cousin is enduring right now.”
A friend of Davis mentioned that she seemed to have suffered tremendously upon discovering her husband’s inappropriate relationship with a colleague.
The woman injured outside the bar was taken to the hospital but her injuries were not life-threatening. The husband, meanwhile, remained unharmed during the incident.
Santiago refrained from confirming any details about an alleged affair between Davis and another woman, noting that prior to this event, police had not interacted with the family.
Queen insisted, “He’s a really good father, and she was a good mother… Regardless of the circumstances, it’s important not to depict her as just a terrible person. That wasn’t who she was.”
