A pastor in Arizona shot in the head According to JulieRoys.com, street preaching happens while you're awake.
Hans Schmidt, 26, was shot in the back in early November while promoting Victory Chapel First Phoenix Church in Arizona. Traffic footage from the Nov. 15 shooting shows a white Nissan crossover and other vehicles near Schmidt, but police said it was unclear whether the gunman was inside.
Schmidt, a husband, father and former military medic, was initially listed in critical condition. Still, his wife Zuriya Schmidt recently posted on social media that her husband was awake.
“In the blink of an eye, our lives changed. You are a living miracle,” his wife Zuriya Schmidt said in a post. “Every day I am amazed to see you holding our baby again, waving to our baby girl. We still have a long way to go, but God is sure to guide us.” Please give it to me.”
Schmidt's father Eric Schmidt also told ABC 15. Arizona announced that a 26-year-old man had been moved to a long-term facility within a hospital for recovery.
“He is still in a delicate condition so I hope he continues to do well,” he said.
Mr. Schmidt is the Outreach Director at Victory Chapel. According to Arizona CentralThis church has an average attendance of about 100 people each week.
Zulya said in an interview with CBN News that the family appreciates the outpouring of prayers.
“That's the only way I can explain it. There were moments where I was like, 'How am I okay?' She even feels guilty for not crying,” she said. “I know God has a plan for all of this because there is no other way to explain it.”
Police are offering a $10,000 reward for information that may lead to the arrest of the Schmidt shooter.
“51st Street is a busy intersection right now, so we know there were people in the area and a vehicle was traveling in the area,” Officer Gina Wynn said at a Nov. 16 press conference. Told. “So we believe there are people within the valley who know what happened.”
